Opinions 4 Headers

So I have been looking at headers for my 97 4.6 150. Currently I have a K&N FIPK, flowmaster exhaust as far as going in and being shot out (if you catch my drift). I am not looking to spend my life savings on them, but at the same time I want to make sure that I am putting quality Headers on my truck.
Basically I want to know what people have for headers, and any other opinions are appreciated. Thanx

Hey filthy fifty; I have the beloved JBA,s I bought them off of Mike right here.I have them on my 2003 and my 98. one was a 4.6 the other a 5.4 . Both fit very close to perfect. They will bolt right up to your stock exhaust pipes. I would say on my install.Nothing was more than 1/6 of an inch off. And I hook them up to a Ravin cat back sys. I used the Z-55s. You should give them a try. I know you wont be sorry.......Good luck Old gray

Thank you

Thanx Old Gray, I have been waiting a long time for someone to reply to this subject. I am having a hard time finding info on headers. So the JBA's sound good... Now some questions... how long did it take to do the install, was it difficult, and how do they sound on the 4.6? I have a flowmaster exhaust right now so hopefully it will give me a more aggressive sound. Thanx for your help.

The 2 most popular choices are the J.B.A & gibson headers . Both are very good quality and fit very well . Pacesetter also has a set for less cash and they are ok . Really depends on your budget .

Yeah for a while I was leaning towards the Gibson Headers, but I have heard from a lot of people that the Pacesetters were just as good. The only thing is that I haven't heard from anyone that has an F-150 that has them. I am still trying to get opinions on them and hopefully I will get some more feed-back on this topic. Thanx for the reply Texasmotorsports. I appreciate it.
