O2 sensors now?

Well Lets just "pretend" I got a custom 2.5" collector pipe for my 99 f-150 4.2 v6 that cut the cats-out? And now I need to put the rear 02 sensors in, where should i put them to get rid of the check engine light? After the flowmaster? Has anybody actually taken the cats out of their f-150 and put the o2 sensors back to have no problems (check engine light)? If so how? Also what exactly does a 02 sensor read? Heat, or 0xygen content? could I splice the two rear o2's into one, to cut the signal down? I want this to work so I dont feel so bad for doing it. Thanks for the help.

Phillip

You need a set of MIL eliminators.

A few places make them, I this Caspers Electronics stil make them.

The first set of O2 sensors are for the A/F and PCM operation, the second set are to see how well the cats are working. Thus you need to simulate the 2nd set of O2 sensors with the MIL elliminators.
