exhaust system for 03 HD SuperCrew

I don't know to much about exhaust systems so please bare with me. For a 03 HD SuperCrew I 'm going to use a magnaflow system. I want my exhaust to exit in front of the rear wheel, do i need a full exhaust system or just a catback system or something totally different in order to acheive the exit before the rear wheel. I'm looking for a tad more power better performance and low cabin noise. I will also add cold air induction kit and hytech power programming lll instead of a chip so I want void my warranty. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks

A couple of things. First, your goals are somewhat in conflict. If you exit a performance exhaust system in front of the rear wheel, the cab of your truck is gonna get quite a bit noisier. Second, if this is the route you're gonna go, then you'll most likely need to go with a complete system that will need to be plumbed to allow for the exit location you're looking for. If this works for you, I'd recommend Magnaflow mufflers and high flow cats, to get the most performance bang for the buck. Find yourself a good muffler shop to handle the remainder of the plumbing and the install of the aforementioned items. If you can get past exiting the exhaust in front of the rear wheel, Magnaflow makes a couple nice catback kits that would work on your truck, and that would be a lot easier on your wallet.

Good luck.

You are right I'm gonna have to get pass the exit point (in front of rear wheel). Just went to a website www.troyperformance.com magnaflow is now making a catback for a 03 HD SuperCrew dual exhaust. I will save some cash going this route. Thanks for the help.

No sweat....... Hope you grow to like your new Magnaflow catback as much as I like mine.

Good luck with your truck.
