is it worth getting true duals all the way back
Is it worth the extra money and all to get true duals all the way back? Is 3" worth the extra money for performance and sound. I want to have a very loud but great performing exhaust system. I love flowmaster but thinking of just getting the muffler and then getting my muffler shop to make a custom stainless steel exhaust pipes with 4" tips if I use 3" pipe. Thanks for yalls help

what motor do you have?
If you want sound, eliminate your cats or else get hi flo cats and run true dual 2.5" or 3" straight pipes all the way out the back into big tips. Personally i would put a short set of cherry bombs or other glasspacks.
3" pipe on a stock motor may lose you some torque due to backpressure loss. 2.5" should keep you where you are.

When I had my exhaust done on my F 150 the owner of the muffler shop said that he did not expect 'true duals', keeping the cats and cutting the stock pipe and routing into two mufflers to make much of a difference because of the size of the stock pipe. Especially when considering the difference in price. Thats why I went with the SI/DO set up.
