I am getting a new pickup soon and on my current one i have a magnaflow cat back system and am very happy with it but it is not loud as i would like it to be.

What exaust system would give me the same power gains as a cat back but be louder than a Cat back.

thanks

If you want loud go with flowmaster I think they hold down the title still, bassani is louder than magnaflow and that is what makes them the best. Bassani is the only other way to go but they use catco cats so be careful with these for it is my understanding that they last for a year and then the guts break down making your cost go up.

Troyer said the magnaflows are the only system they've tested that doesn't cause loss of low end tq.

I plan on trying to run my truck tomorrow at the strip with a straight pipe and then I'll probably be putting a magnaflow system on it and heading back out to the track. I'll see what low end power it gives me in the 1/4.

If you like the Magnaflow but just want it louder, then use a shorter Magnaflow.
