Question Which muffler???

I am going with a dual tip/dual side exit exhaust system for my 5.4L Screw. I am debating about which muffler setup to get to go with my exhaust. I am looking for loud, but not obnoxious(sp?). Performance isn't my main concern. I would like to get a sound similar to older muscle cars or to my 01 Bullitt Mustang (but louder). I have thought about Bassani, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Dynomax, etc. Which will be loudest? Which will be the quitest? Which sounds more like older style cars? Sort of want a gurgley sound, and I don't care if I can hear it while driving on highway or anything. I don't think I want Flowmasters, imo they sound flat. I want character... Thanks.

Colby,

I put a true dual Bassani system from a L on my SCrew.

After about 10K miles, it sounds real nice, and I got a reduction in my 60' times on the G-Tech when compared to my Gibson ST system ( which sounded nice also ).

I don't know if the cat back for the N/A 5.4L would sound the same after the break in.

I have a in cab video with a acceleration sound clip if you want to hear it. Just drop me an email in my profile.

I still need to get my butt in gear and get a no load rev and a WOT run sound clip.

Check out my gallery for pics of the duals.

Good luck

Steve
