15609 vs. 15749

ok, I'm going nuts here. I've been researching and reading posts after posts after ..........you get the idea. i'm trying to figure the best set up for my truck. I don't want sound in the cab, I want the little bit of boost in mpg's and hp's and tq. I've tossed around the magnaflow, the Rhino, the Ravin, the FM's and I'm just so confused. And now to top it off, I was sold on duals, not with the posts I've read on the Magnaflow 15609, I don't know any more.

Big Deal, I now you said you just did your's........was it easy to install, everything from hangers to tips come with it? If you had it to do over again, would you go with duals? Did you weld yours or just bolt it? If you just bolt it, did you do anything extra to prevent leaks?

Any experts out there HELP!!!!!!! I'm leaning more toward the MF's but I need help in deciding single or duals.

OH, I have a 97 Ex. Cab, with a 4.6 with a cold air intake on it, beyond that, it is stock.

THANK,
TJ

PS......Do these kits come with a 3" pipe? If so, will I need a reducer to fit the 2 1/2" stock pipe???

The 15609 is 3" with a reducer right at the beginning to mate up with the stock tubing.

I can't help you with the dual vs. single. That is just personal preference. I am sure the 15749 is a great system as well.
