Magnaflow installed
Got a SI/DO Magnaflow system installed yesterday.
I had them put in the 14" muffler with the single 2.5" in and dual 2.5" out. Had them order 22" stainless "Magnaflow Performance" signature tips with rolled ends and 3.5" exit openings .....looks and sounds awesome!
There's a nice growl when I start it and a very low rumble while it's idling. No drone at all on the highway. Step on it and everyone knows you're there!!!

Hey,
I noticed that you are impressed with your new exhaust.
I'm considering doing the same with the new kit that has just been released. Have you noticed any power gains? I also wonder if your torque have move to a higher rpm range. Thanks for your time.

I won't be your best resource on this subject....I really don't pay too much attention to that kind of stuff. I just wanted some tough noise to come out of a 'Built Ford Tough' truck, and that's what I got.
I've only had the truck a month and have only had the new exhaust a couple of days now and have only driven to work and back. Thinking back, I do believe there's a noticeable increase in torque, all be it small. But again, I don't drive fast or aggressive.
I'll post some pics soon, it looks great!!!! The only change I would make is probably going with the 18" instead of the 14" muffler. The 14" is awesome right now, but reading some posts it will probably get louder as it ages. I originally asked for the 18", but the installer mentioned that this is the kit he installs for Magnaflow dual requests. I'd take it back, but don't want anything messed up, tips and pipes are even and straight.....and sounds perfect right now!!!!
