headers for '97 4.6liter

I have a 1997 f-150, 4x4 off-road, 4.6 liter, 5 spd, 33x12.5 pro comp mud terrains. I was wanting to know if anyone has put headers on this model truck and could give me some info on it. I already have flowmaster true dual exhaust (two different mufflers, none of this using one muffler for both sides) , but i want to get rid of the exhaust manifolds and the 4 cats, and replace them with headers. (For some reason or another ford felt like they needed 2 cats on each side) I looked under my truck and saw there are two o2 sensors on each side, one before and one after the cats. i was mainly concerned that it would pop codes and give me the SES light if i took the cats off. can anyone help me out?

JBA headers are the way to go for shorties. Make sure you get them ceramic coated for the thremal protection. Mike Troyer ( www.troyerperformance.com ) has some Magnaflow SS cats. that when replacing the stock don't set off codes. Also hit the search button on the top of your screen for more info on your application.
