Summit Catback?
This was asked not to long ago, and the general concensus is that the parts are pretty cheap and it pobably won't last too long. For not much more people have has Flowmaster SIDO setups custom installed.
i bought one, and ill see how it goes, for 150 bucks, if i dont like the sound i can swap the muffler pretty cheap. or same with the tailpipes. Ill let you kinow how it is when it gets here.
I bought/installed one about a year ago on my truck. The pipes looked nice and the muffler gave the truck a deep mellow tone but the overall fit and finish really sucked. It was only on my truck for a couple months. I hope you have better results than I did.

Well, i ordered one, 2 1/4 inch dual cat back for $170. It is made to fit around the spare tire, something i think is important to have. It will arrive in 3 to 4 business days, so i hope it gets here soon, i am really looking forward to putting it on and taking it for a ride. I'll keep y'all posted.
I installed one of the summit kits around 25,000 miles ago. The muffler included in the set is not bad for the money. I wanted it louder so I had a Y pipe installed not to long after install. So far, everything has held up great. Even the mounting brackets included. Another good aspect about the kit is the satisfaction of doing it yourself. I think it is worth the money and saving a few hundred dollars.
i was gonna order a summit header back exhaust but was told not to order summit exhaust, a friend had a catback on his truck and it wore out at the bends a year later. so im gonna go with flowmaster, i know i like the way they sound, and just to be safe.
Well i got mine today...only took 3 days, and set me back 180 bucks. I will hopefully be putting it on tomorow, depending on weather and other things. It looks really good and fits together nicely. The muffler looks decent, and looks pretty straight through, not very much restriction at all. The pipes are good, no dents or anything. i am really looking forward to hearing how it sounds.

well i got the whole system on today but haven tightened it down yet....and i haven figured out how the swinger hangers are supposet to connect to the tail pipes... Once i get that on, it will be all good... It was pretty quiet, even without the sysem on, and running straight off the converters... But i think when i actually drive it, it will be much louder because the engine would be under load. I was just running it in neutral. It has a pretty cool tone when idling....even for being quiet.. If i can figure out how to get the hangers on tomorow, i will take it for a ride and see how loud it is. But every thing fit nicely, i had to cut a pipe down quite a bit, but that's the way it was supposed to be to do wheel base sizes. I like it so far, i will give you more info tomorow on the sound and performance.
Don't expect it to be too loud. My friend had a bronco with a 302 and cut the exhaust off after the cats and drove aroung with it like that for a while. It was not loud at all, even under load. I guess the 302's and 351's had such restrictive cats that unless you replace the cats, you won't get much sound out of the exhaust.
