Question Flows or other?

Ok. I've been reading all the threads about flowmaster and the others. I've read the flows do not give any performance benefit only sound. Has any one gotten any performance benfit from the flowmasters? I gotta tell ya, I'm stuck between flowmasters and the others. I heard a mustang the other day blow by me on the highway and I gotta tell you it sounded SWEET. I'm hoping I'm not opening up another can of worms with this post.

I can tell you this...I have seen an increase in gas mileage with my Flowmasters. Personally, I feel there is a definite increase in low end torque. Perhaps it is in my head, but the end result is that I'm happy with my setup. Plus, as you mentioned, the Flowmaster sounds awful nice! It's all a matter of opinion. What matters is that you're happy with what you get. Good Luck!

It is not that a Flowmaster will not improve performance, but not to the extent as some others. Flowmaster owners made their selection based on sound and not so much on performance.
