Post ditching the sweptside

well... I've decided to ditch the sweptside setup and go for flowmaster40 duals (s/i d/o) and I was wondering what size is best for the piping?
I was reading somewhere the 2 1/2 in and 2 1/4 out is the best to keep torque #'s and still have good flow..

what was the concensus? any opinions?

patrickjp,
What made you decide to switch from the Gibson sweptside to the Flowmaster set-up? Just curious.

Thumbs up

A lot of people mistakingly call a single exhaust exiting out the side like the stock exhaust, a "sweptside". Gibson has a system called Sweptside. I've also heard people refer to it as "side swept".
