How will this sound/performance?

I want to do this for exhaust. Stock headers, immediately into cats, then immediately into 2 flowmaster straight into turndowns, will this sound ok, and how will it affect performance.

it could only help in performance, expecially with the mods u already have.
are u gonna keep stock cats or go to high flows??
i did the same with my mustang, with the down turns after the mufflers and it made a, well, unique, sound from the exhaust resonating off the road, if your looking for this sounds good, but if ya want to keep it close to quiet have the exhaust exit somewhere..

You'd better check Texas law,I think it has to protroud from the body on exhaust ends...I don't think you can just turn straight down from the muffler

Unless it has changed, the exhaust has to get past the passenger compartment before it dumps.

It can stay under the truck, but will have to be pretty close to the rear axel I believe to be legal.

Are you planning on putting a H-pipe or X-pipe in there? You should have one.
