Question Recommended Houston Shops

Anyone have any strong recommendations for muffler shops in the Houston area (preferably North)? I want to do the following:

*Flowmaster Delta 50 3 chamber muffler - *3 " diameter inlet
*Dual 2.5" diameter outlets
*2.5" diameter aluminized tailpipes run out the back
*3.5" overall diameter chrome tips, 2.5" inlet, approximately 16" long, slash cut, inner rolled tip

FMG exhaust in Crosby, 281-328-4714. They specialize in Flowmaster and do a lot of custom and race work. I have seen some of their installations and they do a pretty good job, not cheap. They will give you a quote over they phone.

Try American Brake and Muffler in Conroe. They are right off of Hwy 75 just north of Gladstell. I had them put my Ravin on, and they are a good bunch of guys. They have another shop in The Woodlands just off the feeder on the Oak Ridge side, that is a whole lt closer than Conroe, but I personally prefer the service at the shop in Conroe. The original owner still works there, and Ronnie seems to be a really great guy. The guys at the shop in The Woodlands just aren't friendly or as cheap as the guys up there.
Give them a try, it may be worth the time to go up there!

Don't know if it's to late, but give Deer Park Muffler a call. They'll give you a quote over the phone. I know it's a way from the Woodlands, but they do great work!!! The TEXAN...

IMud,
One week ago I had true duals installed with an x-pipe, twin z-55 ravins, mandrel bent pipe, and 3" magnaflow SS tips. ABC mufflers on North Shepard (near Sears) did the job. Excellent work. They replaced the crappy exhaust work I had gotten six months previously from another exhaust shop. It is a father and son two man shop. The old man has been owned and run that shop for 21 years and still loves bending pipe. Most of their jobs are from satisfied repeat customers. I know I will go there next time I need exhaust work.

Anyone know of any shops out in the Katy area. I went to a Mike's muffler for my 2001 Expy and he said it was illegal to change anything in front of the CATS. I got that answer when I asked him how much to change out the factory Y-pipe when I have them change out the muffler (Dynomax or Flowmaster). He gave me a price of about $180 - $200 to change out muffler and put on a 3" tip.
