True Duals vs. SI/DO Flowmaster 40s

Yes, I've lost some on the low end, but gained some (or at least it feels that way) at higher speed and RPM's. Keep in mind that mine are true duals, so it would be DI/DO.
My friend has teh SI/DO on his and claims and increase in low end, but is pissed at the volume (not even close to mine)
