I was at 4Wheel Parts today, here in Dallas and asked them about the quality of the new K&N catback systems. I was told they have been discontinued by K&N. I responded that they are still on K&N's web site, not to mention the catback/FIPK install on a V-10 Excursion featured in the May '01 issue of Sport Truck Magazine, how bizarre! Anyone else heard this?

I bought a K&N Exhaust about a month ago and put it on about a week ago. I absolutely love it. It has the right sound, not loud and not to quite. The seat of the pants performance gains were impressive and it is a quality system. It would be too bad if they were discontinued. I bought mine from www.RVPerformance.com. Maybe give K&N a call to find out for sure.

I had a K&N cat back on order with truck performance.com and just called today to see where it was. I ordered the cat back with some other things and have already gotten the rest of them but no cat back. Truck performance says that the K&N cat back systems are already closed out and can not be gotten at all. Back on the search for exhaust.

 

i will have to look into this that is not cool!
