I installed an airaid intake and gibson supertruck exhaust on my 98 RC 4.2 5spd 150. Ever since I installed them it seems like I feel a drop or surge in power everytime my ac compressor kicks on and off. Has anyone else noticed this or am I losing my mind???? Hope I'm not going crazy, may cause my to trade in on a Chevy...he he. Thanx

 

I hav that problem also. I feel a rumble when The AC is turned on and nothing wen it is off. I have a K&N gen II and a Borla Catback exhaust system on my 99 F150. Is this normal?

 

It seems that I have the same problem on my 97. It seems like when the AC is on there is a viberation. I could turn the AC off and it would almost completly stop. All though I have slightly felt it when the AC was off too, just not as bad ( in fact I just think it was the engine running, maybe the power steering pump. I never paid much attention to it and so far everything is still fine with my truck. Normal?

Maybe I'm not going crazy..Whew.. I'll ask are svc mgr tommorrow what he thinks. Something seems amiss maybe I'm just to picky. I'll let you know what he says. If he can't help maybe I'll just shoot are parts counter guy that knows how to push my buttons and gets me to buy this "cool" stuff. Hope you had a great day !
