Decide first what you want the new exhaust system for. Increased performance, or louder noise? If you want increased performance, go with a system actually designed by engineers to do so. Like Gibson or Borla. You want noise? Bassani. Flowmaster. Ravin. A lot of members here have been going with the Ravin with positive results. Others like the Flowmaster. I have Borla. Nice mellow warble. No drone. And I'm not alerting neighbors that I have arrived home....which is important to me. I still have low end, and I can definately feel the extra power. As for your speed, you aren't going to get rid of the speed limiter unless you get a Superchip.

Cool

remailer- If you remove the top speed limiter, make sure that you upgrade your tires to the proper speed rating. We want you to be safe when you speed.

You might want to look into SpinTech mufflers. http://www.spintechmufflers.com/ Ask for Ron if you call. I just put their cat-back on my truck and the sound is increditable! I have a Gibson on my Suburban (quiter) and Flow Masters on my Mustang (louder) and there really isn't any comparison in sound quality. I'll be dumping the FM's soon to put SpinTechs on. The Gibson is only a couple months old so will stick with it. The SpinTech just sounds better period.

Of course that's just my opinion, actual results may vary, void where prohibited, must be 18 years of age (in most states).

I got a true dual setup with a 18" glasspack on each pipe. I got 2.5" dia. pipe. I noticed a gain with this setup from approx. 1500 to 3000 rpm. You need a superchip to get rid of the speed limiter. Click on the link below my pics to see how I got it setup.

Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, composite driveshaft, bore cylinders 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, get performance heads or port the ones I have, gauges for the a-pillar, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.

Seattle area. I'll be coming through you neck of the woods tomorrow on my way to Montana. My wife has a cousin that's graduating from U of Montana and I'm meeting friends to do a little fly fishing (first time...) later this week.

I'd tell you I'd stop by and you could hear the SpinTech but we'll be in the 'Burb.

Hey Max,
I am also looking at the same Dynomax system. There isn't much info. on this site about them...not too many go that way. Anyway, what made you choose the Ultra-Flow over the Turbo-Flow? I am also thinking Ultra-Flow but don't want to make the wrong choice. Also how does it sound? Is it annoying? How is interior cab noise?
