Question Borla cat-back

Any feedback on the Borla systems? Looking to purchase and wondering if they're worth the $375...They seem to be the best quality that I've seen so far. Thanks for any info.

Steel Breez,Go to truckperformance.com.Go to exhaust on left.Go to cat-back icon. The first system is a Bassani I believe, scroll down one more and it lists the Borla T-304.It lists it at $599 but sells for $413.Click on 'buy now'and the price drops to $371.I'm pretty sure I read it right but maybe that isn't the system you're looking for.

Can someone tell me what exactly a cat back is? I'm going to put some flows on my truck, but I was still wondering. Oh yeah, 2 chamber flows straight back with 3" tips, for $225 with installation! What a bargain.

Steel Breez...I think the problem is the application is different.I have a 2001Screw 4x2,you have a 2000 4x4.That's the only thing I can see. When I enter my vehicle info the $371 special pops up every time.I would definately call on it to find out.

Well, I am in the almost the same boat as you guys. I am looking for an exhaust and for the life of me I can't decide on Flows or Borla.
Flows-pros- split rear exit available for my truck, have it put on any day I want, better sound. cons- only 10-15hp, less warranty, will rust

Borla- pros- million mile warranty, good pipe look (stainless steel), will not rust, 15-20hp. cons- sound not as good, only split side exit with square intercooled tips available for my truck.

Which out weighs which?

Hey Screwforsurf you were right. The prices are different because we have different applications. But I will take your advice and give them a call and see about the price.I really don't know why I couldn't get a good price like you.Well see how it goes. Thanks for the info.Have you ordered the info yet?

Steel Breez,I'm sure if you pressed it you could get the same price...How different could the system be?As a matter of fact, I'll bet they're the same system, they just focused on Screw applications instead of all F150's.I haven't decided on an exhaust yet.A company here in San Diego makes Bullet exhausts.Checked them out yesterday.$325 installed with stainless steel tip.Muffler is all S.S.Lifetime warranty.Trying to find someone w/system to hear what it sounds like.
