Post 8 Pipe Exhaust?

I had an 8 pipe side exit (4 per side) exhaust on my previous truck, and loved it. does anyone make a similar exhaust or am I going to have to make a custom set up?

I think your off your nut.

Have you ever heard an 8 pipe exhaust? If youhad, you wouldn't think it was rice. Not only that, but you can SEE each pulse go off (outside left, outside right, inside left, inside right).

In the late 60's and early 70's they used to do this type of exhaust on cars like the GTO Judge, Mustang BOSS, and Charger.

Personally, the only problems that ricers present are having stickers (or too many) for things they don't have, 3 foot wings, and fart pipes.

Question

What year of a pickup are you talking? If it is any newer than 1976 (or within a few years of that) you need to have a catalytic converter on each pipe, from what I understand. I have a friend that has this exact exhaust on his pickup and it is ****y and loud as h*ll!!

YOu would have to have it custom made by a shop. Also if your pickup is fuel injected you would have O2 sensor problems, and the engine would not run properly because it wouldn't have back pressure without cats on it, since I assume you are going to run them straight.

I guess even cheap $25 cats would get expensive and run out of room. I didn't think of O2 sensors.

Thanks, I guess I'll go w/ true Dual.

No, I'm the one who asked. I meant 8 pipes, not just tips. As I said, I'll scrap that and just get a true dual.
