TRUE DUAL EXHAUST ON A 4.6.. HP LOSS?
I'M ABOUT TO PUT AN EXHAUST ON MY 98
F-150 EXT.CAB 4.6 .. I WAS WONDERING
IF ANYONE ELSE HAS PUT A TRUE DUAL
EXHAUST ON THERE 4.6, AND IF THE LOSS
OF BACK PRESURE CAUSED A LOSS OF H.P.???

A small loss of power was noticed. Perhaps slightly more restrictive muffler(s) should be considered. Initially, I had glasspacks. After they "burned up", I went with the Ravin. It also flows quite freely.

I have true dual with a 18 inch glasspack on each pipe. Seems like there is more power if you ask me. I got 2 1/4 inch pipe.
