Wanted: Dual Exhaust

Not sure if this would be a custom application, but I'm looking for a dual exhaust system, rear exit, and the ends are turned down. This would be like the old Plymouth Fury Police cars of the mid to late 70's and early 80's. I always thought that looked great. Does anyone know if any of the major vendors; Flowmaster, Gibson, Magnaflow, etc... has something like this? Or would I have to get the muffler(s) and have a muffler shop custom make the pipes?

MN2001F-150,

I haven't see a mfgr make the system you are talking about.

The turn downs, I would stay away from. This could jack up the flow fo the xhst gas, and make things worse then stock. Sheer pontification on my part, I have never seen it done on a F-150 myself. I do know someone who had a Honda GoldWing that put on turn down tips, and it killed the mpg on the bike, and it was a dog ( 900# with a car engine and it would not get out of its own way anymore ).

If you are looking for a set that is under the rear bumper, Magnaflow has some prebent tail pipes, that you can use with a SI/DO muffler, and do it yourself in your driveway.

This is for tailpipes that are about 1/3 the way in from each outside of the bumper. I don't know if you were looking for the dumps to be more so to the outside almost where the stock tail pipe is at.

If you are going with the system that you are talking about, it might be a muffler shop job, with a SI/Do muffler, and some bent up pipe.

Good luck in finding what you are looking for.
