Dreaming of straight pipes...
My current system has the factory Y feeding a Flow 50 Delta si/do that dumps out the back with 4" tips.
I would like to eliminate the muffler and retain everyting from there back.
Should I add a Y pipe in place of the muffler, or should I cut the factory Y and run 2 separate pipes back to connect past where the muffler was?
I want the big block sound without the popping and cracking noises the exhaust makes when the throttle is on the way back down.
Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Ok,
heres what you should do. Cut off the Muffler and any other pipes coming from the cat's.. then just run two straight pipes from each cat. converter. your truck will then have true duals, and be load as hell. now when you downshift is still going to pop, because u modified your exhaust. if you don't want the poping then an exhaust system isnt for u....
hope i could be of some help.
