Question Borla Exhaust System

Hello all.
I am brand new to F150 Online and I have already learned a lot.

Does any one have the Borla exhaust system on their S Crew or F150 with the 5.4L? I have little experience with Fords. All of my friends drive Chevy's. I just got rid of a nightmare '97 X-cab w/a Vortec 350, 41 times in the shop over 3 years!! Anyway, any response would really be appreciated.

I want the truck to sound mean, but not annoying.

Thanks in advance,

S-Crew owner in Alaska

Thumbs up

Hyacinth,

Thanks a lot. Your Screw is sweet. I am in the process of somewhat the same build-up. Did you lose any low end with the Borla?

I'm really looking hard at a borla exhaust system. would like to know if any would fit my super cab with twin rear exits. hyacinth looks great and the sound volume sounds about what i would like.

COOLSVILE--thanks for answer--hope i can find one now--lol--hope to hear from hyacinth he has a 2001 super crewcab and would like the part number off of him. do you know your part number(borla)?
am i also correct that the sound is not real loud in the cab? if i get one and it is loud, the wife would say "it's gotta go or i am"--and i sure would miss that old girl.
