Question Replacing stock Gibson tips

I got a Gibson split rear put on my '01 f150 about a month ago. I'm dissapointed with the appearance of the stock Gibson tips, and have grown used to the Gibson sound. The stock tips are only 6" long, and 3" diameter. I'd like something with the appearance of Jimmy Lee's tips:
http://www.f150world.com/southernthunder/
but with a 4" diameter. The shop I go to said they can put 20" long, 4" diameter tips on. Will I achieve this kind of look with that? Also, how will this effect the sound of my exhaust?

Thanks!

Talking

No one seemed terribly interested in my original post, but I figure I'll post a follow-up now that I've replaced the tips in hopes that it will be useful to someone in the future.

So I replaced the stock gibson tips that came with my split rear (3" diameter, 6" long) with a nice pair of SS tips made by a company called Vibrant Performance. These tips are 20" Long, and 4" Diameter.

Looks:
Perfect... exactly what I wanted. They look great from the side and the rear. They're much bigger than the stock, but they aren't so large they look out of place.

Sound:
I had no idea what to expect once I started it up. I had read posts that said they do make a difference, and posts that said they don't. In my case, they definitely did make a difference. They gave the system that little extra ooompf that I was looking for. Noticeably louder, and deeper.

Anyways, that's my story!

worc_mass_F150,

Glad you find some tips that you liked! I have a Ravin exhaust with stock pipes (out the side) and am looking for a nice 3" tip. Where did you purchase your tips? Online or from a local muffler shop.

Thanks in advance

Cyclone:
I purchased the tips from a shop in Worcester called Central Mass Performance. I highly recommend them.
