I'm looking to get dual exhaust on my 97 F150. The truck is a 4.6 4x4 ext. cab. About the only thing around here that you can get is Flow Master. They sell the 40 Series installed cat back with 2 mufflers for $340 plus tax. Just wondering what I'm getting into if I go with that. Any comments on Flow Master, the 40 Series, or the price would be appreciated. I do have access to a welder and know someone that is good at doing it so installing it myself is an option depending on price. I'm also looking at getting a new intake. Really open with that, any comments will help. I'd like to do it this week so the sooner the better, thanks, Pat

 

It seems to me that $350 is a good price for flowmasters with true duals, just be sure you get the 'H' pipe. I have the Flowmaster 40 Delta Series, SI/DO and mine cost $250 installed.

 

Dont waste your money on Flowmasters, I had them, and it was the biggest waste of money I ever made. Order Magnaflow, thats what I did, and the sound and performance improvement is so much better, I will never use anything else. You can order them from Mike Troyer or from www.bigexhaust.com

 

I love my Flowmaster. It works great for me...had a SI/DO 40 series installed for $232 here in the DFW area. Great performance in conjunction with my Iceman Intake.
