I resently purchased a 97 4x4 w/4.6 5 speed. Did all 97's exhaust exit in front of the wheel? Mine exits behind the wheel. Also, the muffler is 24" long. Does anyone know if this is factory?

All 97's had it exit in front of the rear wheel but they had a tsb on it to move it behind the wheel if you opted to have it moved so you either have a aftermarket system on or it is a factory system moved by the tsb work done to it.
