Question Complete Flowmaster Cat back system?

Has anyone installed a complete Flowmaster system on their truck? How does it sound? I've read that Gibson doesn't sound that great, so I'm looking for something louder.

Thanks,
Steve

Cool

I installed the force II in the fall.It has a nice deep rumble to it and it's not bad on the highway.I'm happy with it.The system is single in and dual out the rear.I also installed 3" ss tips.

i have a series 40 muffler on my truck, single inlet dual out, and i love the sound. one thing i have noticed about flowmasters is that they get louder with time. i noticed this with my truck and with a friend's mustang. anyways, i love the sound, and the engine seemed to breathe a lot easier after the install(the rpm's move up and down a lot faster). good luck with your purchase...

I have the 4.2 in my truck so of course I was looking to get some extra kick. I had everything from where the cat's join removed. A new Y connector was added going into a 3". I used a magnaflow single in dual out resulting in 2.5"'s out the rear with an oval shaped tip. Total was $340 and I love it. It's not obnoxiously loud, inside or out and has a nice, deep tone. Actually, it's surprisingly quiet standing outside while in idle and again, not overly loud when in full throttle from outside. It gave me a little extra power but it's the look and sound that I appreciate most.
P.S. I also appreciate the added rumble/vibration in the cab I get the first few minutes of oper when I'm at a stop. Pretty cool
