Smile Exhaust Recommendations???

Managed to put a little cash away and am ready to change on the exhaust on the girl. Looking for a Dual Out system. What kind of recommendations do ya'll have for a decent system? Don't want to be annoyingly loud but yet I'd like her to have some rumble to her just the same without a lot of cab drone. I'm looking to get dual out the back... Flowmasters?? Gibson??? any help is greatly appreciated!! sig has the basic specs on the truck.... thanks!!

I installed CGS Motorsports muffler on my truck and I'm very happy with it. I installed their 3" inlet, dual 2 1/2" outlet muffler. They state it provides the best low-end power and I can confirm that I haven't lost any low-end performance as the case with many of the too free-flowing mufflers on the market. Check out their website at: www.cgsmotorsports.com. If you're looking for a catback system, Gibson offers many options. I'd stay away from Flowmaster due to the cab drone they create.

I believe (someone correct me if im wrong) that the Flowmaster 50 series DELTAL FLOW is supposed to have a good rumble outside, and the resonance in the cab is not supposed to be too bad. Make sure you get the delta flow though because the regular 50 series has more resonance in the cab.

Also, many people here have gone with the Ravin exhausts from Midas and have been very happy with them. Do a search on the Ravin Z-55 and you will get plenty of info.

Hope this helps.

I don't know if you like the side exit of the Gibson Supertruck but I am very happy with it's rumble at idle and growl when revving the engine.

I would highly recommend the Flowmaster DF-70. It provides a nice tone outside without the drone inside the cab. If you use the dual-in / dual-out you can do away with the y-pipe and you have duals all the way out with a single muffler.
