Question Which is better?

Are there performance differences between a rear exit exhaust and a sweptside exhaust. If so, how much, and does anyone make a rear exit for EC/LB?

Thanks, John

Basically if you leave the same muffler and piping diameter for both styles, you will have almost the same performance.

You will have significant performance changes when you change the internal design of the muffler and the piping diameter of one of the systems compare to the other.

Gibson makes the Sweptside and the Split Rear. Flowmaster makes a split rear and there are other companies with similar setups. Do a search here in the boards for more styles and companies.
