I want Headers! Any suggestions?

Hey everyone!

I decided to go with some pulleys, and I will be ordering them next week. While I am at it, I was thinking about some headers, too. The only problem is that I have a cat back system already. I'd like to keep the cats. stock, so that I don't have to worry about the California smog checks. What type of headers would you suggest for my 4.6? I guess anything would be an improvment on our stock ones. I saw an article where they were installing some BBK shorties on a 5.4. They said they had plenty of room!

OOPS! Just noticed the thread below. Sorry. Only one reply. They recommended MAC shorty headers.

Just looked at some Stainless JBA shorties. What's the difference between ceramic and SS? What about even or non-even ?

Stainless steel heats up and will turn blue. Ceramic coating keeps the heat way down, out of the engine bay, which alows for cooler under the hood temperatures, and I have heard that you can actually grab the headers after they have been turned off for 1 min.
