Talking And $35 later

I got the muffler chopped off and a straight pipe put in this weekend on my 4.6L.

Man it sounds awesome! It isn't even that loud. I'm going to try to get Beastie to help me get sound clips of it up.

I just kept the stock tip for right now until I heard what it sounded like. I do wish it was louder though.

I'm wanting to order a tip now and go back and have them make it so it comes out right infront of the passenger side back tire. What kind of tip would look and sound good on my truck?

Good deal intel--have you listened to Fordman302's straight pipes?? Its in the 5.4 straigth pipes thread in this forum. Im thinking of getting true dual straightpipies (2.5") all the way out with big chrome tips.

I think I've heard his sound clips. Beastie was playing me some and that is what really convinced me to do it.

I actually wish it was louder I'm burning so much gas though. I've found a couple places that I can floor it and hear my exhaust echoing off stuff. One is a gas station right as I get off the highway. Floor it right by the front and I can hear the echo

What kind of tip should I get on it? This stock tip looks stupid.
