Any Programming Issues Changing The Exhaust After The Manifolds???

2002, Offroad, 5.4, ATI 12# Boost (fuel upgrades and custom tuning).

I'm keeping the stock manifolds. If I go with high flow cats and let's say SI/DO system, are there any programming issues that need tweaking?

...just disconnect the Battery...

Does this mean that I should've disconnected my battery after all the changes I've made? After the Superchip (which was installed while the batt was disconnected) I've added a K+N Gen II, a Gibson cat-back, and coil & wire upgrades. I am just about to get the chip reburned because detonation is a problem (in the warm weather) if I run less than Sunoco 94 or add octane booster to 93 fuel. Is there a possibility that this could be fixed with a disconnection? I think I'll try!

chip

Orlin; when you bought the chip didnt it or the inst. mention hi-test gas?? If you dont buy a flip chip, almost nothing will stop the pinging....except hi-test. I dont think a battery disconnect will do anything for You. If you dont need the power, get rid of the chip...I hope this helps,I know its a pain in the wallet but its one or the other..Good luck OLDGRAY
