Question flowmaster 40 on 4.2L V6

I am thinking about replacing my stock muffler and have been looking at the flowmaster series. One shop only puts on flowmaster 40's. What would a flowmaster 40 sound like on a v6? Would it sound like a weedeater at full throttle? My other option is the recommended 70 series at another shop. Any suggestions. What kind of torque/hp increase should I expect.

Thanks

Question

flowmaster 70 will keep your backpressure in tact, anything lower and you will loose low-end torque. You loose low end but gain high end.
My Ravin took away the backpressure I needed and I may go with a flowmaster 70 soon.
