If I cut the cat. off would it mess up the computer readings? Anybody know which states have inspections in which I would get busted for no cat.?? I want the loudest beast i can get is this the answer? I have no muffler now, can I get any louder?? I dont even know if mufflers are required on a truck? are they? Help a F150 brother out you guys! THANKS

Cool

Removing the cats is against the law in every state. It is a 50 state federal law. It is illegal to even replace them without proper cause before 50k/5yrs. I'm not saying that none were ever removed.

If your truck is equipped with downstream O2 sensors, someone told me you'll need a fake sensor (available from Summitt, I'm told) that sends a lean signal to the ecm...Mark
