Exclamation Gibson S/T Rusted Out

My aluminized Gibson S/T has rusted out after only 2.5 years! If you're considering a new exhaust, I would strongly recommend stainless.

Question

Does the S/T still works properly? Is it rusted because of the salt?

No it is no longer useable. It rusted through the outer wall of the muffler. I would imagine it is a combination of the exhaust and the constant rain we get here in the Pacific Northwest, but I am no expert. I am very dissapointed in the longevity of Gibson's product though!

I hope your case is an isolated one since I order one today. I will post some feedback on this.
