Cool Return of the "Cherry Bomb"

Hey guys, before you go out and spend all that money on a Gibson Super truck exhaust, Check out ILUVNOS's "Dyno Results" in the V6 forum. He dynoed a Gibson ST exhaust against a $13 Thrush Cherry Bomb glass pack. Hope your sitting down when you see his dyno results!

Wink

This thread could really tick off some of the people who have spent lots of extra money on exhaust systems.

Proof that more flow isn't always better. I've used Supertrapps on several cars, trucks and bikes and had better results than anything else I've ever tried. For the record, I've tried more than I care to mention.

They can be really loud after the packing breaks in, so I might try something else this time around. Don't want the little own wearing hearing aids!

Cool

ILUVNOS's dyno results showed that the Cherry Bomb created more low end power and more horse power than the gibson. He went on to say that the Cherry bomb even sounded better than the Gibson. He said it had a low growl that would make Mustang GT's jealous. I have heard Cherry bombs before and I think they sound great. ILUVNOS said that his truck did not feel as "Airy" with the Cherry Bomb which probably meant more low end power. Find him in the V6 forum, Taxman
