Post question, help!

well, I love this muffler but now it appears as I have gained some power points, I have also lost some on the highway.. when travelling at 50-60 I notice more than ever my trans will downshift when i hit the gas instead of upshift and power forward.. I REALLY HAVE TO NAIL IT TO GET IT TO DOWNSHIFT!

also, the shifting points are horrible when I get on it from 20-30 mph, the gears wind out really bad and do not kick in like I would like them to..

i may just be noticing this now because I installed the muffler, k&n air filter and I have been gassing it alot.. but it sure could use a shift change..

is this a loss of torque? or just normal shifting for the f150's? is there a mod that can even out the shift points?

btw, Im have a
97 F150
4.2 v6
40k on the odometer
and a ravin z55 with a k&n air filter

Cool

Try resting the computer. Unhook the battery, turn the lights on, turn lights off, & hookup the battery. I had the same problems when I put on my AirAid. Give it a shot and then order a Superchip!!!
Good luck
