Question Flowmaster For F150 4x4 Ext Cab

Does anyone have the single into dual 2.5" Flowmaster out the back set up on an ext cab 5.4L? Do you like it? Is it too loud? Too quiet? How much? I got a quote of $300 for muffler, custom pipe work, and 2 18" ss tips out the back. Too much? What series muffler? I want noise, but not drag car level, just deep throaty mean noise.

I have a truck like yours, and I had the same setup on my 99'. If I were you, I'd go with the setup I posted below. "THE ULTIMATE EXHAUST SETUP!!!" However, if you really want duals...go with no less than the FM 40. I had a FM 40 in the stock location with 3 1/2" x 10" stainless tip, and it was VERY quiet, so I added a 20" "turn-down" and it's almost perfect. Keep us posted.
