Exclamation No DI/DO Ravin Z-55's

I have been hearing such great stuff about the Ravin Z-55. All the talk has had me leaning towards them .. Then I found out that Ravin does not make a DI/DO systems. I would need to go with the Z-77 series. ( I may well keep my stock system). Flowmaster makes a 50 series that is DI/DO.
www.goravin.com

Is there any other sites that have more info?

Also a confusing issue for me is that I think when some people are talking ¡§CAT BACK¡¨ they may be actually talking ¡§Y¡¨ pipe back.
For me it would not even be any issue. If you are doing CAT-BACK(S) you are running new DUEL pipes why not finish the job by getting rid of the ¡§Y¡¨ and run DI/DO while you are at it? (beside the issue of RAVIN not making a DI/DO).

Am I all wet?

I keep thinking DI/DO is a better setup.ļ
Maybe it is not.

If you were going to run DI/DO, why not just run true duals...one from each cat????

I am pretty sure if you ran d/i d/o, you would lose the free flowing aspect of an aftermarket exhaust system. If it's possible, I would run dual mufflers to free up the exhaust a bit more. In respect to Z-77, it would still be better than stock because it's more free flowing then the stock muffler. Its just that it's not as loud as the Z-55.

I have read that someone with a Lightning ran dual Z-33's, so I am pretty sure it can be done.

Wink

I guess I missed the Obvious.

Run two Mufflers making it true duels all the way.

I guess this would be the only way to be sure of max performance.
I will have to measure to see how much room I have as well.
