Post Aftermarket Exhaust Hangers

Just had the Ravin Z-55 exhaust installed a few weeks ago at Midas, and recently noticed some rattling noises coming from the exhaust tips against the bumper. I have dual 3.5" tips out the back, and it seemed the left one was a bit too loose. So I took it back to Midas and they basically just bent the pipe with a crow bar (actually a really long wrench) and it seemed to do the trick. I guess I am a little concerned if that was typical protocal, and if the pipes are supposed to vibrate, and by how much?

The left one still feels a little loose, compared to the right one... should I take it back again?

Thanks

I know if I had this situation I would keep taking it back until I was completely satisfied. (NO RATTLES). I am sure you paid good money for their professional services you should expect a professional job (NO RATTLES BANGS OR CLATTERS). As far as bending you pipe to fit with a wrench.. Well I am not a mechanic but this seems like a cheesy way of fixing it.

Cool

Metal hangers can be bent; pipe, that's another story. You are ok with some vibration, that is normal, but too much (maybe 1/2" or more) is not good.
