Question Ravin Exhaust

I have read all the good things on ravin exhaust from you guys.I have a few questions. Is Midas the only place to get this exhaust? What is the Main advantage over Flow Master. What is the difference between the Z55 ad the Z33 systems. Sorry for all of the questions. Thanks,
Darren

here hou go big4x4.

1. Midas exclusive
2. Flows better, produces more torque and hp
3. Ravin has three models. The Z70 for SUVs which is tame, the Z55 is the mid range which sounds great (for me - similar to a FM DF 40), and the Z33 which is for performance cars/trucks and produces more sound than the Z55. Most have the Z55 and Z33 and love them. Unlike the FM and Gibson, et.al, have not had one bad review of the Ravin. Exceptional product.

If you can, I would suggest trying them out. Have the Midas guy mount the Z55 then the Z33 and pick which one you like, what suits your taste? Conservative muscle or scare them before you get there?. That is what I did when I compared the Ravin to the Flowmaster. Basically the Ravin sounds deeper without any FM gurggle or resonance. As you can see from the board messages, the Ravins are catching on like wildfire.

Thumbs up

big4x4,
Welcome to the board! I can't say enough good things about the Ravin products. After several weeks (months actually) of considering exaust systems I happened across one of GoGo's posts and found exactly what I was looking for. Not only were the flow numbers and sound good but so was the bottom line, (for me anyway) price! I want all the performance I can get for my money and the Ravin fit that bill. Midas really grabbed a spot in the perfomance exaust market with the Ravins. GoGo gave you some "sound" advice, hehe! See if your shop will let you listen to a few setups. If it's a good shop it should be no problem. See which one is for you. My Z-55 has plenty of bark to it and the HP increase was noticed right away. There's almost no noise in the cab unless I'm on the throttle. Guys that have gone with the 33 are equally pleased with their setups as well. In the end it comes down to what you want. You can't go wrong with either. Keep us posted!
