flowmaster part # needed

I have a '99 Lightning and I want to put on a flowmaster muffler. I want to leave the rest of the exhaust STOCK.
does anyone have the part number?

also what are the sizes of the pipe going in and out of the muffler?
the ID or OD

help???

First, you will lose performance over the stock muffler. Flowmaster is known for its unique sound, not performance.

The stock pipes are all 2.5" and the stock muffler is a dual in/dual out muffler.

I couldn't find a DIDO Flowmaster 40 series muffer so you'd need two 2.5" SISO mufflers which is PN 42540.

I highly recommend a higher quality muffler and one that flows better. Magnaflow, Borla, Bassani are just a few that make stainless steel DIDO mufflers that will provide better performance.
