As far as the rattle, the system comes with a lifetime warranty. I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find someone who had a problem with EVERY manufacturer out there.
If you call Mike T. you will be buying a Magnaflow. Not knocking, just warning you. It is what he believes in and they appear to make a quality product. For what it's worth:
Mike T. told me how the Gibson exhaust would ruin my low-end torque. He explained that they have tested a bunch of systems and the Gibson made plenty of power in the higher RPM range, but caused a loss of low-end torque. I explained that before I modded my 'Screw, it would barely chirp the tires on dry pavement from a standing-start (that was with a SuperChip, by the way). After I installed the Gibson exhaust and the cold-air intake and MAF (all at once), I could do a pretty good job of burning both rear tires from a standing start (I have the LS 3.55 rear end). Mike said "Huh ??" and then Mike warned me that the MAF I added was causing my engine to run dangerously lean and that I needed to have the chip re-programmed. I sent the chip to Mike and they took care of it for me. I honestly can't say I think it runs any better than it did before the re-program, but I trust it should not be lean any more.
I guess the whole point I'm making is my experience is contrary to what Mike T. says, but does reflect what Gibson says their dyno results were. Go figure...

In short, I'm very satisfied with my Gibson exhaust. Fit perfect, easy install, exact noise level I wanted, etc.
Good luck !!
B-man,
Did you do the install youself? What was it like?
I have a 4x4 also with 16'' factory wheels.
One think that I am conused about from their site is I want to put the split rear on, there is a not that says "Exits On Passenger Side Behind Rear Tire"
Tha would seem to me that would defeat the point of "Split Rear", so if anyone has any insight into this let me know.
I don't have a CAI on my truck or the MAF sensor mod, so I wonder if that would make a big difference.
The Gibson Setup does have the quality's that I am looking for it I can just find out the detailed questions I need to know.

ok I'm here, lol
As far as what is the best setup to my ears and I hear all kinds everyday. I do think magnaflow sounds the best, Flowmaster runner up. Magnaflows are wide open mufflers for real and they do increase the h.p by at least 10 h.p
We stock the Magnaflow line of exhaust systems, everthing but the headers. We will put anything you want on your veichle just as long as it's nothing illegal. We also have Flowmaster, and some Dynomax but not much. For a truck like yours rb, we could put a cat - back on it for about $250 without tax. With tax, call it more closer to $255 with tips. That's just my guess though, to give you an accurate price, we'd actually have to look at the truck in person. If you are willing to make the 2 hr trip down here to where i live, go for it, but is it really worth all that just for some exhaust system??? Good luck with what you go with.

I am either going with the Magnaflow or the Gibson. Seems everyone says that the flowmater a a bit to loud.
Thanks for the info. BTW where are you in Ohio? Any are you ready fro winter to be over or what?

With all due respect, I would rather not say where I am in Ohio since this is a public forum. Do you have AIM Rb????

I don't agree with everything Mike T says either, but I do believe Magnaflow makes some very good products.
f-150_91, I sent you my contact info.
I am leaning more toward Magnaflow. f-150_91 that is why I want to try and find a place that stock them and can install it.
As far as winter goes I am good and sick of it. It usually doesn't bother me, but I want to wash my track and wax it and put my Mods on without freezing to death. (don't have a garage or any patience)
That is if I ever get my W2 from my former employer so I can file my taxes.

Gibson sounds to quiet? Get the Gibson SuperTruck Series -best bang for the buck, roughly around $275, and you could put it on yourself! (ordered one myself).
Mean race truck, throaty, growl to it, and not too overly loud. and looks awsome!
...and did people say they're known for broken baffles? ...who wants a muffler that will last forever? That's no fun! By the time your muffler fails, companies will release their shiny all-new-improved-super-duper-stupendous-series muffler system!
-...and then you can do it all over again -brag and feel excited about your new cat-back system! whoohooooo!
