I am asking myself the same question. I think we will have to wait for some dyno's from the company itself or some seat of the pants tests from new owners members of the boards. The name is Ravin.

According to the documents, the Ravin actually flows better than the Flowmaster and does/can produce more horsepower. For these reasons, it is a safe bet that the Ravin muffler vs. any other muffler, in an apples to apples comparison could be better OR similar. My personal opinion regarding this when looking at mufflers only, is that for the average daily driver most of the small differences are irrelavent; FM, Gibson, or Ravin. The actual gains will be dependent on all mods that are done to your truck. To do an actual test would be interesting, but would require the same vehicle, same environmental factors such as tempature, humidity, etc. to run the test. Regarding performance and torque, the actual numbers anyone gets from any exhaust system will be dependent on these factors.

What I can definitley report is this. With the Ravin Performance System, and the K&N cold air induction, I do have better throttle response with no loss of torque. Is this better or worse than the FM DF 50 with a K&N cold air induction? I don't know, but believe that most of these systems will produce similar results for the AVG DRIVER. Therefore as an average driver, unless you are racing, determine what is important to you. For me it was simply to 1.increase throttle response, 2. absolutely no loss of torque (which is the by-product of some "systems"), and 3. great sound (subjective).
