Question flowmaster exhaust with 4.10 gears

I was thinking about getting the flowmaster 40 series muffler installed onto my truck. I know that it'll reduce low end torque, so I was thinking about having 4.10 gears to compensate.

Can anyone give me some feedback on this combo? Thanks

If you are replacing your muffler only, and not increasing the 2.5" exhaust pipes, you should not loose alot of low end torque/power. FM 40's will give alot of sound, and should increase top rpm performance substantially. The gear change you mentioned will give a much quicker truck either way, but gets into more serious dough.
