Question which headers?

I have decided to supercharge. I know I want coated headers in order to deal with winter salt conditions. Does anyone out there have any experience with headers on a late model 150?

Yep, Gibson stainless headers here. Love them, more power, torque, and changed the sound.

Question

Fordman, is the x-tra performance worth the price??
I too get off on the sound of the upgrades I have so that goes a long way but for 5 big ones, performance is a must...

Well, I'm not the one to say if it's worth the price or not. On my truck, if it's cool I just do it.

Well the Gibson headers are on. After about 100 miles of testing I can say that I have noticed alittle more torque. No significant improvement. There is a header sound, not a noise, just different sound which is acceptable. Also got a check engine light after about 90 miles and a 100mph run. hmmm?
Are they worth it? Nope. My goal is the free up the exhaust when supercharged which, will be the next project.

After checking out the computer, it seems that the computer is sayind there is insufficient airflow to the EGR. Gibson warranty is in progress...
