spin tek exhaust system
Has any one heard of a spin tek mufflers? I went down to my local exhaust shop to find out about getting the 40 series flowmaster exhaust system installed when the guy told me about spin tek. He said that this type muffler is only 7 or 8 months old and that he prefers it over the flowmaster.I`ve had work done at this place several other times. He does really good work and I trusted him so I went ahead and had it installed.I think it sounds really good and it has that groaning sound from with in the cab that I wanted. I`m happy with this muffler but I just wanted to know if any one has heard of it.Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

spintek exhaust
I have a 2001 expedition with a 5.4 liter, super charger and K&N air filter and custom intake. It has a spintek exhaust system 3". I can't compare it to stock, because I had the whole package with the Vortek 2 super charger done at the same time. It is supposed to increase horsepower more than other aftermarket systems by spinning the exhaust. Good sound. Not too loud while cruising on the F-way, but loud if you accelerate hard.
I had Spintech on my Dakota 5.9 R/T and on my current F-150. The Sportsman Street series was a good performing muffler, just too quiet for my tastes. I have the IMCO Extreme now and find it too loud at times when towing.
