Question Basanni headers and Quite Thunder Muffler.....should I?

I am going to purchase a 2000 F-150 XLT with the 5.4 Liter V8 and all the goodies that come with it cause the lease on my '98 is about up and I want bigger. I wanted to start off with a good exhaust system. I don't really want to spend the cash on new pipes since the stock runs fine from what I hear. I'd like to install the headers and the muffler. I for sure want the Basanni Headers, but should I go with the Basanni Quiet Thunder Muffler or another brand such as a Flowmaster. Any suggestions? Thanks for any suggestions, and if you have Basanni exhaust components on your truck please, expirience is the best source of info.

The Bassani headers are awsome. I have there cat back system. It is a little bit to loud for my taste, especialy between 55-70 mph where it resonates through the cab.Above 75 mph it quiets down.

I called them and asked them what I could do to make it more bareable on the highway. They told me if I sent it back to them they would look at it, but I can't be without my exhaust.

I asked them if they could give me a discount on the headers since I am a repeat customer, and was not happy with the cat back system. They told me they could not offer me any discount, or offer a discount to the to there distributor to help me out.

I had there Headers and cat back system on my 93 lightning and it was awsome. It seems the quality is not as good as it was, or maybee they are getting so big that they don't care about there customers as much as they did in the past.
