Post Help

I can't get anyone to put dual exhaust on my 1993 Ford F150 300 inline six. They say it's illegal. I need help in the matter.

They are correct.

You'll have to find a "cash-only" person to do it. Or, you could do it yourself.

Dear Kampe,

Why would you want dual exhaust on a I6? It has been my expirence that it does not sound too good. We all have our own "perfect sound" so don't get mad at me if I'm stepping on your toes (I don't mean to).

In your place (budget permiting) I would just get a *fake dual* like a flowmaster or whatever. You can get a header I think for that engine. Make a search, I know their is a post in the engines section with a really cool link to the 300 I6 performance parts.

Nomo is right, find a shop that will do it. I think it will be illegal if you remove the catylic converter?? Does your state do emissions testing? I just ordered a product that *claims* to dramatically reduce pollution. I checked out Consumer Protection and so forth and it seams legit. I've heard that one guy got 50% MPG increase from his I6. But don't get your hopes up just now, Check out my site in June and I'll give out my test results about this so called PVI kit.

Im in the six banger club too! But true duals (if thats what you are talking about), wouldn't be my choice in my opinion.

Good luck kampe!
